Pushpa Gujral Science City Kapurthala organized State Level Energy Conservation Day with support by PEDA on 14th December, 2019. In this one day event, around 300 students from various schools of different districts of Punjab participated in 2 events namely- Project Display and Play on the theme of Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency.

PEDA had celebrated State Level Energy Conservation Day on 20th December 2019 at PEDA office building, Sector 33-D, Chandigarh in which State energy conservation awards were distributed to the Designated Consumers, SME’s and Commercial Building’s who had taken extra efforts for efficient utilization, management and conservation of energy. On this day Energy Conservation Booklet and Technical Manual was also launched. Also more than 35 exhibitors displayed their energy efficient products in exhibition area of PEDA Building.

• Wall Painting /Graffiti Competition was organized on the topic “Space cooling through optimum temperature setting of AC – 24° C” in different Colleges /Universities of  5 districts of Punjab in which 35 digital entries were received:

Radio Jingles on the theme of Electric Vehicles have been relayed on various radio channels across Chandigarh and Punjab for 40 Days covering 4 Radio Channels at different time slots in a day.

2 Posters on Electric Vehicles have been created for public display in exhibition area of PEDA building.

Notepad Planner on the theme of Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency has been prepared for distribution among the stakeholder departments & general public
